Fenistil coated tablets are a medicine containing the active ingredient dimetindene maleate, a so-called "antihistamine". Fenistil coated tablets are effective against the symptoms of allergic diseases and itching of all kinds.

If you do not feel better or even worse, consult your doctor.
Fenistil Coated Tablets provide fast and effective relief from allergic reactions (after approx. 30 minutes) such as hay fever, food and drug allergies, insect bites and skin rashes (hives). The lozenges relieve swelling, redness and itching from the inside.
For the symptomatic relief of
- histamine-induced itching
- itching associated with chickenpox in small children
- allergic rhinitis in patients over 6 years of age
- hives (urticaria)
The coated tablets may be used from the age of 12.
How do Fenistil coated tablets work?
The body's own messenger substance histamine causes allergic skin reactions such as swelling, itching and redness. The body releases more histamine when foreign substances (allergens) penetrate the skin and the body reacts in defence to these substances. Fenistil coated tablets contain the active ingredient dimetindene, which blocks the histamine in the body and thus reduces the typical symptoms.
