- The nail treatment is a medical device that aids in the treatment of nail fungus (onychomycosis). It has a proven track record and is effective against the fungi that cause nail fungus. The unique formula containing ISK1320®, ‘INSTANT KILLER’, contains ingredients that penetrate the nail surface, killing the fungi within 20 seconds. The liquid forms a thin layer on the nail, creating conditions that are unfavourable for fungal growth within the nail plate. This layer also acts as a physical barrier, preventing the fungus from spreading further. Apply the liquid to the nail two or three times a day using the user-friendly brush.
- To achieve better results more quickly, it is recommended that you carefully file the nail once a week. As soon as treatment is stopped, the nail fungus will return more quickly. It is therefore important to continue using the nail treatment until the nail fungus has completely disappeared.
- As nail fungus infections can be caused, amongst other things, by a damp environment, it is strongly recommended that you wear socks made from 100% moisture-absorbing materials such as cotton or wool. This is important because fungi thrive in damp conditions and multiply under such circumstances. If you have a fungal nail infection, it is important to keep your feet dry at all times.
- Dosage and application: The nail treatment is intended for external use. Apply the product to the affected areas twice a day (for example, in the morning and in the evening) until the nail has grown out completely. Thanks to the ISK1320® 20-second Instant Kill formula, the applicator brush is not contaminated with the fungus; this prevents (further) infection of other nails and the product also protects against the fungus returning. The nail treatment can be used in combination with oral antifungal medicines.
- Side effect(s): The nail treatment has virtually no side effects. Possible side effects include erythema, irritation, oedema, pain, nail discolouration and onycholysis.
