- The very high effectiveness of Sun Actinic ControlMD is due to its very high sun protection factor. A very high sun protection factor combined with high UVA protection shields the skin from UVA and UVB radiation and, when used daily and regularly, forms a protective barrier that absorbs and reflects rays, thereby minimising the risk of direct cell damage. This reduces the risk of actinic keratoses and skin cancer.²
- Thanks to its lightweight formula, Sun Actinic ControlMD is quick and easy to apply and can therefore also be used daily as a day cream – as an important part of your daily skincare routine for sun protection or as sun protection to complement medical treatment, so that you can actively and carefree enjoy your time outdoors. - You are exposed to high levels of sunlight, e.g. due to your occupation or outdoor sporting activities. For example: farmers, construction workers, gardeners, sports coaches, police officers or athletes, such as marathon runners, skiers or water sports enthusiasts.
- You have a weakened immune system, e.g. due to an illness, radiotherapy or medication.
- You have a very fair skin type.

Dosage form
Use
- Apply only to clean, intact skin.
- Apply a sufficient amount (2 mg/cm²) to the affected areas every morning.
- Using too little will significantly reduce the level of sun protection.
- When exposed to direct sunlight, reapply the sun protection every 2 hours, particularly after swimming, sweating or drying yourself with a towel, to maintain the original level of protection.
- Do not stay in the sun for too long, even if you are using a sun protection product. Excessive sun exposure is a serious health risk.
- Wear protective clothing and apply sufficient sun protection to unprotected areas of the body.
- Before applying cosmetic products (make-up, foundation, decorative cosmetics), please apply Sun Actinic ControlMD first and wait until the product has been fully absorbed before applying any further products.
- Daily and regular use is necessary for optimal protection all year round.
- Actinic keratosis is caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight. If you have ever had actinic keratosis, you should avoid direct sunlight.
- Allow the product to be fully absorbed and avoid direct contact with fabrics and hard surfaces to prevent discolouration.
- Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of eye contact, rinse the eyes with lukewarm water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
- It cannot be ruled out that, in rare cases, skin irritation or a rash may occur during use (e.g. due to hypersensitivity and/or a photoallergic reaction to individual UV filters). If you experience such reactions or similar symptoms, stop using the product and consult a doctor.
- If you experience any unexpected or serious symptoms whilst using this product, stop using it immediately and inform your doctor or pharmacist, the manufacturer and your national health authority.
- Do not use in combination with other topical medicines on the same area of skin.
- Do not apply to damaged or broken skin or to open wounds.
- In patients undergoing pharmacological or surgical treatment for actinic keratosis, Sun Actinic ControlMD should only be used once the lesions have healed and your doctor has recommended its use.
- No information is available on the use of Sun Actinic ControlMD in infants, children, or pregnant or breastfeeding women.
