- Certified medical product with SPF 100 for highly effective UVA & UVB protection
- Also suitable as an accompanying therapy for actinic keratosis
- Light fluid ideal for daily use
- The very high effectiveness of Sun Actinic ControlMD is due to its very high sun protection factor. A very high sun protection factor with simultaneous high UVA protection protects the skin from UVA and UVB radiation and, when used daily and regularly, forms a protective layer for the skin that absorbs and reflects the rays and thus minimises the risk of direct cell damage. This reduces the risk of actinic keratoses and skin cancer.²
- Thanks to its light formula, Sun Actinic ControlMD is quick and easy to apply and can therefore also be used daily as a day cream - as an important part of the daily sun protection skincare routine or as sun protection to accompany therapy, so that you can enjoy your time outdoors actively and carefree. Sun Actinic ControlMD is also recommended for very sun-sensitive skin and people who are highly exposed to the sun, such as certain occupational groups and athletes.
- You need a very high level of sun protection to prevent actinic keratosis and non-melanocytic skin cancer (light skin cancer).²
- You need a very high level of sun protection that is also suitable as an adjunctive therapy for actinic keratosis.
- you are highly exposed to the sun, e.g. due to your profession or your outdoor sports activities. For example: Farmers, construction workers, gardeners, sports coaches, police officers or athletes, for example marathon runners, skiers or water sports enthusiasts.
- You have a weak immune system, e.g. due to an illness, radiotherapy or drug therapy.
- you have a very light-coloured skin type.
2See S3 guideline 'Actinic keratosis and squamous cell carcinoma of the skin'; there is no separate study with Actinic Control.

Application
- Apply only to cleansed and intact skin.
- Apply a sufficient amount (2 mg/cm2) to the affected areas every morning.
- An insufficient amount significantly reduces the degree of sun protection.
- In case of direct sun exposure, reapply the sunscreen every 2 hours, especially after swimming, sweating or drying with a towel, to maintain the original level of protection.
- Do not stay in the sun for too long, even if you are using a sun protection product. Overexposure to the sun is a serious threat to health.
- Wear protective clothing and use sufficient sunscreen on unprotected areas of the body.
- Before applying cosmetic products (make-up, foundation, colour cosmetics), please use Sun Actinic ControlMD first and wait until the product is completely absorbed before applying other products.
- Daily and regular use is necessary for optimal protection all year round.
- Actinic keratosis is caused by constant exposure to the sun. If you have ever had actinic keratosis, you should avoid direct sunlight.
- Allow the product to absorb completely and avoid direct contact with textiles and hard surfaces to prevent discolouration.
- Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. In case of eye contact, rinse eyes with lukewarm water. If symptoms persist, contact a doctor.
- It cannot be ruled out that in rare cases skin irritation or a rash may occur during use (e.g. due to a hypersensitivity and/or photoallergic reaction to individual UV filters). In the event of such reactions or similar symptoms, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- If you experience any unexpected or serious discomfort when using this product, discontinue use immediately and inform your doctor or pharmacist, the manufacturer and your national health authority.
- Do not combine with other topical medications on the same area of skin.
- Do not apply to damaged, injured skin or open wounds.
- For patients undergoing pharmacological or surgical treatment for actinic keratosis, Sun Actinic ControlMD should not be used until lesions have healed and their physician recommends its use.
- Information on the use of Sun Actinic ControlMD for infants, children and pregnant or breastfeeding women is not available.
