Rinsing the nose for nasal care
If there is an increased risk of infection or exposure in the workplace, e.g. due to dry air in offices or increased exposure to dust in workrooms, rinsing your nose should be part of your regular routine: For nasal care, to prevent colds and as a quick remedy for allergies. At the same time, nasal rinsing frees the nose from daily pollutants such as (household) dust.
Nasal rinsing for colds
As soon as the nose tingles and a cold becomes noticeable, nasal rinsing can often prevent the cold from spreading.
This is because natural Emser salt supports the nasal mucosa in its self-cleaning function and has an active mucolytic effect. This means that colds and the like have little chance.
If you do catch a cold, nasal rinses quickly and gently clear the nose and support the healing process.

How to use
- Nasal rinsing is most pleasant when the rinsing solution is lukewarm. The salt must be completely dissolved beforehand by shaking.
- Open your mouth wide when rinsing so that the water simply runs in one nostril and out the other - and not down your throat.
- Some residual solution may collect in your nostrils. This can be easily removed by bending your head to the left and right a few times - preferably over the sink!
- Caution: Rinsing with pure water is not advisable as it irritates the nasal mucosa and causes painful swelling!
- Dosage: 1 - 3 times a day as required
- Duration of use: Also possible over an unlimited period of time
- Package contents: 1 nasal douche, 4 sachets of Emser nasal rinsing salt
This is how it works - rinse your nose with the EMSER nasal douche:
- First fill the Emser nasal douche up to the fill line with lukewarm water and add a sachet of Emser nasal rinsing salt or a sachet of Emser salt and close the nasal douche. Use Emser nasal douche.
- Close the lid valve with a finger and shake the nasal douche until the salt has completely dissolved. Using the Emser nasal douche.
- Fold up the nosepiece, place it against the nostril and open your mouth wide. Use Emser nasal douche.
- By lifting your index finger on the lid valve, you can start the flow of the rinsing solution and regulate the rinsing pressure by squeezing the nasal douche.
