Ready-to-use solution for inhalation

Emser Inhalation Solution is a ready-to-use, isotonic solution of Natural Emser Salt. It is used to moisturise and cleanse the airways. Emser inhalation solution actively loosens mucus, stimulates the activity of the ciliated cells and thus supports the natural cleansing mechanisms of the respiratory tract.

Only when the cilia are fully in their element and the mucus is not too viscous can it be transported out of the bronchial tubes.

For inhalation using a cold nebuliser - Emser® inhalation solution:

• Emser inhalation solution is particularly helpful for respiratory diseases that are associated with increased mucus formation.
• Emser inhalation solution actively loosens mucus and supports the activity of the ciliated cells. This supports the natural cleansing mechanisms of the respiratory tract.

Its use has proven particularly effective for

• Acute and chronic bronchitis
• Chronic obstructive bronchitis (COPD)
• Bronchial asthma
• Cystic fibrosis
• Acute and chronic sinusitis
• As a carrier solution for the inhalation of beta-sympathomimetics and anticholinergics

It can also be used as a carrier solution with common respiratory therapeutics, so that several effects can be achieved with one inhalation.

How to use

The following information appliesunless your doctor has prescribed Emser® Inhalation Solution otherwise .Please follow the instructions for use, otherwise Emser® Inhalation Solution will not work properly!

Emser® Inhalation Solution should be inhaled 3 to 4 times a day, whereby 5 ml of solution should be inhaled with each inhalation . Inhalation should always be carried out using a suitable nebuliser. Compressed air-driven or ultrasonic inhalation devices are suitable.

Depending on the type of device, the volume that must be used for nebulisation can vary greatly. In this case, the inhalation device should be filled with enough solution to ensurean inhalation time of 10 to 15 minutes.

If Emser® Inhalation Solution isused as a carrier solution for other inhalation solutions such as beta-sympathomimetics and anticholinergics , the dilution instructions of the respective manufacturers should be observed.

As a rule, these medicines should be mixed with 2 - 5 ml of Emser ® Inhalation Solution.

Caution: Mixtures must be prepared fresh before each inhalation and must not be stored.

The duration of use of Emser® Inhalation Solution is not limited, please follow your doctor's instructions.

100 ml solution contains: 1.175 g natural Emser salt, purified water
