The EMSER® Inhalator Compact is a portable inhalation device used to treat conditions affecting the upper and lower respiratory tracts, including allergic asthma, acute or chronic bronchitis, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and cystic fibrosis (cystic fibrosis). Inhalation using this portable nebuliser is also recommended, for example, in cases of acute sinusitis. Battery-powered and quiet, this handy inhalation device can be used anywhere. Whether at home, on the move or on holiday: the EMSER® Inhalator compact makes inhalation therapy easier for patients with respiratory conditions in their everyday lives.

Portable nebuliser with vibrating diaphragm technology

The EMSER® Inhalator compact is a modern inhalation device for nebulising liquids and liquid medicines. The inhalation solution is nebulised into the finest droplets by the vibrations of the oscillating membrane inside the device. This ensures that all the active ingredients of Natural Emser Salt reach even the finest branches of the bronchi as ultra-fine particles during inhalation. There, they specifically moisturise the mucous membranes and thin the mucus present in the bronchi, making it easier to cough up.

Inhalation therapy using finely atomised inhalation solutions is particularly recommended for acute or chronic conditions of the lower respiratory tract.

When carried out regularly, inhalation therapy can help prevent certain respiratory conditions, alleviate their symptoms and speed up recovery. Particularly in the case of acute cold symptoms, natural self-care remedies, such as isotonic inhalation solutions containing natural Emser salt, are very well suited to alleviating symptoms and, in some cases, preventing them from worsening. In the case of diagnosed respiratory conditions, particularly chronic ones, inhalation therapy is always carried out in consultation with the treating doctor, especially where necessary medication involving prescription inhalation solutions or medicines is indicated.

Method of use

Sit or stand in an upright, comfortable and relaxed position.
Switch on the Emser® Inhalator compact, which has been filled with the Emser® inhalation solution, by pressing the on/
off button until it lights up blue.
If necessary , you can wrap a small towel around the inhaler to catch any liquid that may drip.
Place the mouthpiece onto the nebuliser and hold
it firmly with your teeth and lips.
If necessary, use the adult or child mask instead of the mouthpiece.
Hold the device as upright as possible during the inhalation process .
Now breathe in slowly and deeply.
Hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds, then breathe out quickly.
Repeat this process until the inhalation solution has been used up.
The Emser® Inhalator compact switches off automatically as soon as the solution is used up.
Clean the accessories thoroughly with hot water and dry them carefully with a soft cloth. Once the parts are completely dry, put them back
and place them in the storage pouch.

IMPORTANT

Do not remove the mouthpiece from your mouth or the mask from your face at any point during the inhalation .

CAUTION

The device must be switched off and allowed to cool down before each cleaning .

The EMSER® Inhalator compact, including its accessories, has been designed for repeated and regular use. After each use, it is advisable to rinse the mesh nebuliser, including the chamber, and the accessories used with hot water. The practical self-cleaning function allows for an intensive clean of the nebuliser as required, removing coarse impurities and medication residues. Instructions for further hygiene measures can be found in the user manual.
