- Electrolytes are substances (e.g. salts) that are important for fluid distribution and water balance in the human organism. The most important electrolytes are sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and chloride.
- The electrolyte balance is in constant flux due to the intake of food and drink, but also due to losses through bodily excretions. In certain situations, such as heavy sweating (e.g. during sport, dancing, etc.), water and electrolyte balance can be lost. It is then advisable to contribute to electrolyte balance by additionally drinking an electrolyte solution.
- Isotonic electrolyte-glucose mixture of sodium, potassium, chloride, glucose and magnesium. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance.
- Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and riboflavin (vitamin B2) vitalise the body by contributing to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy metabolism; pantothenic acid also contributes to normal mental performance.
- Riboflavin (vitamin B2) contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function.
Dosage form
How to use
- Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 200 ml of cold or lukewarm drinking water as required (e.g. after sport, after dancing the night away, before going to bed or after getting up).
- Stir well until the powder has completely dissolved (approx. 30 seconds). A slight change in colour when stirring is normal and is partly due to colouring ingredients such as the beetroot juice powder. Then drink the prepared solution immediately.
