- Electrolytes are substances (e.g. salts) that are important for fluid distribution and water balance in the human body. The most important electrolytes are sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and chloride.
- Electrolyte balance is constantly in flux due to intake via food and drink, but also due to losses through bodily excretions. In certain situations, such as during heavy sweating (e.g. during sport, dancing, etc.), imbalances in water and electrolyte levels can occur. In such cases, it is advisable to help restore electrolyte balance by drinking an electrolyte solution.
- Isotonic electrolyte-glucose mixture comprising sodium, potassium, chloride, glucose and magnesium. Magnesium helps maintain electrolyte balance.
- Pantothenic acid ( vitamin B5) and riboflavin ( vitamin B2) revitalise the body by helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue and supporting normal energy metabolism; pantothenic acid also contributes to normal mental performance.
- Riboflavin ( vitamin B2) helps maintain normal skin and protects cells from oxidative stress.
- Choline helps maintain normal liver function.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- As required (for example, after exercise, after a night of dancing, before going to bed or upon waking), dissolve the contents of one sachet in 200 ml of cold or lukewarm drinking water.
- Stir well until the powder has completely dissolved (approx. 30 seconds). A slight change in colour whilst stirring is normal and is due, amongst other things, to colouring ingredients such as beetroot juice powder. Drink the prepared solution immediately.
