Directions for use
- Clean the wound: A clean and clear wound is the first step towards optimal healing. To effectively protect the wound from infection, spray Hansaplast Wound Spray onto the entire wound from a distance of approx. 10 cm to remove dirt and visible particles. Repeat if necessary. Then gently dry the wound and the surrounding skin. Important: Minor injuries usually stop bleeding after a short time. If the bleeding does not stop, apply pressure to the wound with a compress and seek medical advice.
- Protect the wound: The second step is to protect the wound from external factors such as dirt and bacteria to allow it to heal undisturbed. Protect your wound with a Frozen children’s plaster or a sterile wound dressing from Hansaplast. Unless otherwise advised by a doctor, the plaster or sterile wound dressing should be changed daily. - Treat the wound: In a third step, you can help your wound to heal safely, quickly and with a reduced risk of scarring. To do this, apply Hansaplast Wound Ointment regularly until the wound has fully healed. Hansaplast Wound Ointment can be used on minor, superficial wounds at any stage of the healing process. If necessary, cover the wound with a plaster, a sterile wound dressing or a compress from Hansaplast.
