Why vitamin D3?

Our body produces the majority of the sun vitamin in the skin itself when there is sufficient sunlight. However, in autumn and winter, when we spend too little time in the sun (office work) and have dark skin, this is often not enough. In addition, the body's own production of the sun vitamin decreases with age. If the body's own vitamin D production is insufficient, the German Nutrition Society recommends a daily intake of 20 μg (800 I.U.) of vitamin D for adults. This corresponds to 1 drop of Dr Jacob's Vitamin D3 Oil. A higher dosage may be advisable for health reasons.

The sun vitamin D makes a scientifically proven health contribution to the following normal bodily functions
