Melatonin as an effective sleep aid

  • A good night's sleep influences our well-being during the day. Melatonin is partly responsible for a good night's sleep. As soon as it gets dark, our body starts to release the sleep hormone. Together with the hormones serotonin and cortisol, it controls our body's day-night rhythm. The older we get, the more our body's own melatonin production decreases. This is one of the reasons why older people in particular often find it harder to get to sleep.
  • Melatonin helps to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep. This positive effect occurs if you take 1 mg of melatonin shortly before going to bed.

Melatonin alleviates jet lag

The body needs time to get used to changes in sleeping and waking times. Frequent flyers and shift workers are particularly affected by constantly changing rest periods. Melatonin helps to alleviate the subjective feeling of jet lag if you take at least 0.5 mg of it on the first day of travelling shortly before going to bed and on the first few days after arriving at your destination.

Support the psycheand nerves with vitamin B12

Melatonin B12 forte also contains vitamin B12 to support the normal functioning of the nerves and psyche. Due to its active form, it is particularly bioactive and can be directly metabolised by our body. Vitamin B12 and melatonin are absorbed via the oral mucosa when the tablet is sucked to ensure a rapid effect. The tablet can also be swallowed ½-1 hour before going to bed to achieve a longer melatonin effect.

How to use
  • Swallow 1 tablet ½-1 hour before going to bed with a little water (longer melatonin effect).
  • Alternatively: suck 1 tablet at bedtime (faster and shorter melatonin effect).
  • Mandatory note: Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Keep out of the reach of small children. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. May have a laxative effect if consumed in excess. If you experience increased drowsiness during the day after taking melatonin, you must not drive or operate machinery. Taking 3 mg melatonin may have a slightly blood-thinning effect.

  • Ingredients: sweetener xylitol, bulking agent acacia fibre, silica, bulking agent cellulose, natural cherry flavour, bulking agent guar gum, palm fat, melatonin (1.4 %), beetroot juice powder, methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). May contain traces of nuts.
