Magnesium is a vital mineral that the body cannot produce itself. Storage is only possible to a limited extent.

Heavy physical exertion at work or in sport, increased sweat loss or an unbalanced diet can lead to an increased need for magnesium. The Magnesium 500 DEPOT tablets from Doppelherz system supply the body with magnesium over many hours of the day for the normal functioning of the muscles and nervous system:

The direct phase provides 300 mg magnesium with a citrate content of 50 mg in combination with 2.5 mg vitamin B6.
The depot phase provides 200 mg magnesium together with 2.5 mg vitamin B6.

What does the 2-phase depot offer?

The 2-phase depot from Doppelherz system consists of two different tablet layers due to a specially developed manufacturing process. It works according to the principle of rapid nutrient release and long-term nutrient release.

The principle of direct phase and depot phase

In the "depot phase", the magnesium contained is gradually released over many hours and made available to the body in smaller "portions" throughout the day. In contrast, the magnesium in the "direct phase" is released more quickly. It is therefore available to the body more quickly.

Magnesium supports normal energy metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system. The mineral contributes to electrolyte balance and normal muscle function.
Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and plays a role in the normal function of the nervous system.

Directions

Take ½ - 1 tablet daily with a meal and sufficient liquid, without chewing. If there is an increased need for magnesium, e.g. due to heavy physical exertion in combination with a magnesium-poor diet, take 1 tablet daily. If only an unbalanced diet is present, take ½ tablet.
Note: Amounts over 250 mg magnesium can have a laxative effect in sensitive people. Not suitable for children and adolescents, pregnant and breastfeeding women and people with impaired kidney function.
