Dolofort 400 mg film-coated tablets is a medicinal product containing the active substance ibuprofen. Dolofort is used for mild to moderate pain (e.g. headache, toothache and menstrual pain) and pain associated with colds and flu-like infections.

How to use
- Oral use.
- The film-coated tablets are taken whole with sufficient liquid during or after a meal.
- There should be at least 6 hours between two doses.
- The tablet can be divided into equal doses.
- Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the usual single dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over and weighing at least 40 kg is 200-400 mg ibuprofen (= ½ to 1 film-coated tablet). The total dose distributed over the day must not exceed 1200 mg ibuprofen (= 3 film-coated tablets).
- If you do not feel better or even worse after four days, consult your doctor.
- This medicine is only intended for short-term treatment. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
- If you have an infection, consult a doctor immediately if symptoms (e.g. fever and pain) persist or worsen.
- Children under 6 years of age (and children under 20 kg body weight): Dolofort must not be used in children under 6 years of age and/or 20 kg body weight, as this dose strength is not suitable due to the active substance content.
- Children over the age of 6 and over 20 kg body weight: Dolofort 400 mg may only be given to children under the age of 12 with a doctor's prescription.
