- Many particles such as pollen and other allergens enter the nose with the air we breathe. The nasal mucosa can only fulfil its natural cleansing and protective function as a barrier against external influences such as dust, smoke or pollen if it is sufficiently moisturised.
- Coldamaris Allergy Nasal Spray forms a moisturising protective film that remains on the nasal mucosa for longer thanks to the viscosity-increasing properties of Carragelose®. This film acts as a barrier against external influences. In addition, regular, prolonged moisturisation supports the natural function of the mucous membrane and facilitates nasal cleansing in the event of increased exposure to dust, smoke or pollen.
- For the symptomatic treatment of symptoms caused by dry or irritated nasal mucosa
- In particular for the symptomatic treatment of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis) such as dryness in the nose, runny or blocked nose, itching and sneezing.
Dosage form
How to use
- Coldamaris Allergy Nasal Spray is suitable for use in children from 1 year of age and adults. It should only be used in infants under 1 year of age on the advice of a doctor. There is no evidence to suggest that it should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Advice: If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any component of the preparation.
- Remove the protective cap before use and, if necessary, carry out a few pumping operations until a uniform spray mist emerges. COLDAMARIS Allergy Nasal Spray is now ready for use.
- Hold the bottle as upright as possible when spraying. The suction tube must protrude into the liquid. Insert the spray head carefully and not too deeply to avoid injury. Spray one spray into each nostril several times a day, depending on your individual needs.
- The product can be used as often as required and can be continued over a longer period of time without breaks in use. There is no risk of habituation effects.
- If the functionality of the spray head is impaired, press the spray head several times in a vertical position until the spray mist emerges again.
- After use, rinse the spray head with water, dry it with a clean cloth and replace the protective cap on the spray head.
Ingredients
- COLDAMARIS Allergy Nasal Spray contains 1.2 mg iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®). Carragelose® is a substance obtained from red algae from the sea.
- The other ingredients are sodium chloride (0.5 %), ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), disodium hydrogen phosphate, citric acid and purified water. The special spray system with filter makes it possible to dispense with a preservative.
