Product information "Coldamaris allergy nasal spray"
Coldamaris Allergy Nasal Spray is a hypotonic, viscous, preservative-free solution for moisturising the nasal mucosa and the symptomatic treatment of the associated symptoms of allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis).
What does Coldamaris Allergy Nasal Spray do?
- Many particles, such as pollen and other allergens, enter the nose with the air we breathe. The nasal mucosa can only fulfil its natural cleansing and protective function as a barrier against external influences such as dust, smoke or pollen if it is sufficiently moisturised.
- Coldamaris Allergy Nasal Spray forms a moisturising protective film which, thanks to the viscosity-increasing properties of Carragelose®, remains on the nasal mucosa for longer. This film acts as a barrier against external influences. Furthermore, regular, sustained moisturisation supports the natural function of the mucous membrane and facilitates nasal cleansing when there is increased exposure to dust, smoke or pollen.
When should you use Coldamari’s allergy nasal spray?
- For the symptomatic treatment of discomfort resulting from a dry or irritated nasal mucosa
- In particular, for the symptomatic treatment of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis) such as a dry nose, a runny or blocked nose, itching and the urge to sneeze.
Dosage form
Nasal spray
Directions for use
- Coldamaris Allergy Nasal Spray is suitable for use in children aged 1 year and over and in adults. It should only be used in infants under 1 year of age on the advice of a doctor. There is no evidence to suggest that it should not be used during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.
- Notes: If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients in this product.
Method of use:
- Before use, remove the protective cap and, if necessary, press the pump a few times until a uniform spray is released. COLDAMARIS Allergy Nasal Spray is now ready for use.
- Hold the bottle as upright as possible whilst spraying. The nozzle must be submerged in the liquid. Insert the spray head carefully and not too deeply to avoid injury. Spray once into each nostril several times a day, depending on individual needs.
- The product can be used as often as required and treatment can be continued over a prolonged period without any breaks. There is no risk of the body becoming accustomed to the product.
- If the spray head is not working properly, press the spray head several times whilst holding it in a vertical position until the spray emerges again.
- After use, rinse the spray head with water, dry it with a clean cloth and replace the protective cap on the spray head.
Ingredients
- COLDAMARIS Allergy Nasal Spray contains 1.2 mg of iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®). Carragelose® is a substance extracted from red seaweed.
- The other ingredients are sodium chloride (0.5%), ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), disodium hydrogen phosphate, citric acid and purified water. Thanks to the special spray system with a filter, no preservatives are required.
