Directions for use
- Adults and children (from 6 years of age) drip 1 drop of Allergo-COMOD eye drops into each eye 4 times a day. If the daily dose is insufficient, it can be increased by increasing the frequency of application to 1 drop 6 times a day or doubled to a maximum of 1 drop 8 times a day.
- Notes: Please follow the instructions for use, otherwise Allergo-COMOD eye drops may not work properly. Allergo-COMOD eye drops should always be used in such a way that contact of the dropper tip with the eye or facial skin is avoided.
- Duration of use: After the symptoms have subsided, you should continue treatment with Allergo-COMOD eye drops for as long as you are exposed to the allergenic substances (house dust, fungal spores, pollen, etc.). If you want to use Allergo-COMOD eye drops over a longer period of time, you should have the necessity of the treatment determined by a doctor.
- Method of application: For instillation into the eye.
- Remove the protective cover before use.
- Before using Allergo-COMOD eye drops for the first time, press the bottom of the bottle repeatedly until the first drop comes out at the tip of the bottle. The bottle is then ready for use for subsequent applications.
- Hold the bottle with the dropper tip pointing downwards, as shown in the diagram, and press the bottom of the bottle as far as it will go without interruption. This activates the mechanism for extracting a drop. Due to the special valve technology of the COMOD® system, the size and speed of the drop is always the same regardless of the pressure on the bottom of the bottle. Tilt your head back slightly, pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye and insert a drop into the lower conjunctival sac as described. Close your eyes slowly.
- Close the bottle carefully after use. To prevent crystallisation of the solution in the pump mechanism, the protective cover should be replaced after each use.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is sodium cromoglicate 20 mg/ml.
- The other ingredients are sodium edetate x 2 H2O, sorbitol, water for injection.
- 1 ml = 30 drops. Note: Allergo-COMOD eye drops do not contain any preservatives.
