Cerustop® ear oil, 10 ML

Effectively remove hardened earwax with Cerustop® ear oil. This medicinal spray gently cleanses the external auditory canal, removes wax blockages and helps prevent inflammation. Ideal for regular ear hygiene.

Hardened earwax impairs hearing and can lead to inflammation in the external auditory canal. It should therefore be removed regularly. Cerustop®, which contains almond oil, penetrates the earwax, making it more soluble and therefore easy to remove. When applied to a cotton wool ball, the ear oil also removes dirt and skin flakes from the outer ear and the external auditory canal.

Cerustop® ear oil is used to remove excess or hardened earwax (cerumen), to prevent inflammation of the external auditory canal, and to clean the outer ear and the external auditory canal.

Cerustop® is also suitable for hearing aid users.

Cerustop® can be used prior to ear irrigation carried out by a doctor. Following irrigation with water, we recommend using Normison® to promote rapid drying and restore the natural acid mantle of the skin in the external auditory canal.

Directions for use

• To remove excess or hardened earwax, tilt your head slightly to one side and instil about half a pipette of body-temperature CERUSTOP ear oil into the external auditory canal. To prevent the ear oil from running out, plug the ear with a small cotton wool ball; the ball should be inserted loosely and must never be pressed into the ear canal. After leaving it to work for about 10 minutes, gently rinse the ear with warm water – using a hand-held shower head if possible. For severe build-up, it is recommended that you repeat the process.
• To clean the outer ear further, apply a few drops of CERUSTOP ear oil at body temperature to a cotton wool ball and remove any adhering earwax, dirt and skin flakes by wiping the outer ear several times. Wipe with a dry cloth afterwards. 
• After rinsing with water, we recommend using NORMISON ear drops to help the ear dry quickly and restore the natural acid mantle of the skin in the external auditory canal.
• Suitable for use in children and adolescents aged 3 years and over, and adults.
