Magnesium glycinate or magnesium bisglycinate is an organic magnesium compound (the magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine). The amino acid chelate complex protects the mucous membranes in the digestive tract and magnesium glycinate is therefore considered to be particularly well tolerated. It is also highly bioavailable, as it does not have to compete with other minerals for the same absorption pathways, but is recognised by the body as an amino acid and is therefore much better absorbed.

Taking it as a capsule is particularly easy and provides the body with exactly the recommended daily dose of magnesium. One capsule contains 105 mg of pure magnesium and can be optimally absorbed thanks to its excellent bioavailability. Magnesium glycinate is also known as magnesium bisglycinate.
