Canesten® Clotrimazole solution, 20 ML

Canesten Clotrimazole solution is a medicinal product for the treatment of fungal infections (mycoses) of the skin. Due to the broad spectrum of activity of clotrimazole, the solution is effective against many different pathogens that can cause fungal infections of the skin in humans.

Local application inhibits or kills the growth of the types of fungi found in athlete's foot and nail infections. The solution not only acts on the surface of the skin, it also penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin.

When is Canesten Clotrimazole solution used?

Canesten Clotrimazole solution is used to treat fungal infections of the feet, usually in the area between the toes, the sole of the foot and the nails. Itchy blisters, redness, scaling and swelling are usually clear signs of a fungal infection.

How to use

• To ensure complete healing, treatment should be continued according to the instructions below, even after the symptoms have disappeared.
• The solution is intended for application to the skin. The solution is applied thinly to the affected areas of skin 2 - 3 times a day and rubbed in. Due to its intensive effectiveness, a few drops are usually sufficient for an area about the size of the palm of your hand. Wash your feet before each application to remove loose skin flakes. Then dry thoroughly, as fungi love moisture.
• Use on children and adolescents: Data on a limited number of newborns, infants, toddlers, children and adolescents show no evidence of adverse effects with the use of Canesten Clotrimazole Solution.

Ingredients

• Active substance: Clotrimazole (0.01g per 1ml solution).
• The other ingredients are isopropanol, polyethylene glycol 400 and propylene glycol.
