Product information "Labisan cold sore ointment"
Labisan cold sore ointment is used for the local, supportive treatment of cold sores (herpes labialis) and for the prevention of cold sores and chapped, cracked lips. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3-4 days, consult your doctor.
Sometimes, however, we are prevented from doing so by annoying and unfortunately also contagious cold sores. Labisan prevents fever blisters and helps them to heal more quickly so that we can bounce back more quickly.
The trigger for fever blisters is the herpes simplex virus, which withdraws into the nerve ganglia after infection and becomes active again during physical exertion, stress or excessive UV radiation, leading to the development of fever blisters.
Properties
- Anti-inflammatory
- Decongestant, dehydrating
- Local immunostimulant
- Long-lasting UV protection
Labisan cold sore ointment contains peanut oil and must therefore not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to peanuts or soya (see also section "Labisan cold sore ointment must not be used"). Castor oil can cause skin irritation .
