Vitamin D3 (also known as colecalciferol) belongs to the group of fat-soluble vitamins. It occupies a special position among the vitamins, as it can be formed in the skin with the help of UV-B rays from sunlight. Sunlight exposure during the autumn and winter months is often not sufficient to ensure an optimal supply. In addition, vitamin D can only be stored to a limited extent. It is therefore advisable to supplement your diet regularly, especially during periods with little sunlight.

Vitamin D3 promotes the formation and maturation of bone stem cells. It also regulates the absorption of calcium and promotes the incorporation of calcium and phosphate in bones and teeth (mineralisation), making them hard and stronger. The combination with vitamin K2 can also have a positive effect on bone health.

Directions

• Adults: Take 1 x 1 capsule daily with liquid.
• Notes: Contains maize. When taking coumarin-type anticoagulants, use is only recommended after consulting a doctor.

• Ingredients: Filler: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!); vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7, lipids, maltodextrin); colecalciferol (mannitol, vitamin D3), capsule shell: cellulose.
• Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: 125 µg (5000 I.U.) vitamin D3 (2500 % NRV*) and 100 µg vitamin K2 (133 % NRV*) *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
