Bios DMAE 120 mg capsules are a dietary supplement containing dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE), an organic compound that occurs in the brain as a precursor of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol) is also known as deanol. It is found in large quantities in some fish such as sardines, salmon and anchovies. It is also always found in smaller quantities in the human brain. There it is involved in a series of reactions that form acetylcholine - a chemical found in the brain and other areas of the body. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that helps nerve cells to communicate with each other. As a result, it is also involved in all processes related to learning and memory. Deanol also protects the cell membrane, increases the resistance of cells and thus leads to cells living longer. DMAE 120 mg Bios capsules have therefore also proved their worth as a skin tightening agent.

• Adults: Take 1 - 2 capsules half an hour before breakfast with plenty of liquid.
• Advice: Should only be taken after consulting a doctor if you are taking medication at the same time. Should not be taken by epileptics and people with manic-depressive illnesses.

Ingredients

• Ingredients: Dimethylaminoethanol bitartrate; bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!), capsule shell: gelatine; colouring in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide.
• Composition per capsule: 120 mg dimethylaminoethanol.
