Directions for use
- For external use only; avoidcontact with mucous membranes and eyes.
- Apply BETADONA® ADVANCED Wound and Healing Gel once or several times a day (or each time the wound dressing is changed) evenly to the damaged area in a layer about 2 mm thick . If necessary, a wound dressing (e.g. paraffin gauze) can be applied. This can also preventstains on clothing.
- If necessary, the hydrogel film can be dissolvedin water or 0.9% saline solution.
- BETADONA® ADVANCED Wound and Healing Gel is grease-free and can be easily washed off. Stains on clothing and other fabrics can be removed with soap and warm water . For stains that are difficult to remove , ammonia (liquid) or sodium thiosulphatecan help.
- Clean wound if necessary.
- Apply BETADONA® ADVANCED Wound and Healing Gel about 2 mm thick directly to the wound. Protect wound edges with an oilyointment if necessary orapply BETADONA® ADVANCED Wound and Healing Gel directly to the wound dressing* to a thickness of about 2 mm . Protectwound edges with an oilyointment if necessary .
- Cover the wound with a paraffin gauze and wound dressing* *When selecting the wound dressing, the relevant contraindications must be observed. Do not use silver-coated dressings.
