- Vitamin D is essential for the human organism. It is hardly absorbed from food, but the body produces it itself with the help of the UV-B rays contained in sunlight in the skin. In the winter months in northern and central European regions, however, the sun vitamin D can be obtained almost exclusively from food, as there are not enough UV-B rays in daylight for the body's own production of the vitamin.
- Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and has a function in cell division. It supports the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function and contributes to the maintenance of normal teeth. Vitamin D also contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus and contributes to normal blood calcium levels.
- The relatively unknown, fat-soluble vitamin K is one of the essential vitamins. It contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal blood clotting.
- Vitamin K is available in two forms: Vitamin K1, obtained from green plants such as kale, parsley, lamb's lettuce or chives and vitamin K2, obtained from animal sources or fermented products such as sauerkraut. Vitamin K2-MK7 from Kappa Bioscience is now regarded as a good form of vitamin K2 for the body, as it is highly bioavailable.

Directions
- Take tablet daily with a glass of water during a meal. Tip: Vitamins D3 and K2 are fat-soluble and are better absorbed by the body together with fat-containing meals.
- Advice: Please do not take if you suffer from hypercalcaemia (increased calcium concentration in the blood) and/or hypercalciuria (increased calcium concentration in the urine). If you are taking coumarin-type anticoagulants, please consult a doctor before taking the product. If thiazide diuretics are taken as diuretics, this should be taken into account in the vitamin D dosage, as the calcium level may rise.

- Ingredients: Vitamin K2-MK7 from Kappa Bioscience (encapsulated), bulking agent: calcium carbonate; vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), anti-caking agent: tricalcium phosphate and magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable).
- 1 tablet contains: 100 µg vitamin K2 (133.3 % NRV*), 50 µg (≙ 2000 I.U.) vitamin D3 (1000 % NRV*). *NRV= nutrient reference value / % of the nutrient reference value according to the EU Food Information Regulation.
