Apozema® Mouth and Gums Echinacea complex No. 23 drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for the treatment of inflammations and diseases of the oral mucosa, the gums and the corners of the mouth.

Homeopathy is a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic diseases. APOZEMA Mouth and Gums Echinacea complex No. 23-drops are a combination remedy consisting of the following individual homeopathic remedies: Echinacea (narrow-leaved coneflower), Apis mellifica (honey bee), Arnica (mountain arum), Arum maculatum (spotted arum), Belladonna (deadly nightshade), Marum verum (cat's bugloss), Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni (mercury) and Sulphur (sulphur flower).

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indications are authorised for this medicinal product:

• Inflammations and diseases of the oral mucosa, the gums and the corners of the mouth.

The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in these indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these diseases, clinically proven therapy is indicated. This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 3 years of age. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Properties of the ingredients

• Echinacea (narrow-leaved coneflower) is used in inflammatory processes to regulate the body's defences. This prevents excessive immune reactions and inflammations can heal.
• Apis mellifica (honey bee) is a classic homeopathic remedy for allergies and inflammations. The areas of action include the skin and the mucous membranes around the mouth. The modalities are intolerance to light and heat, improvement in the cold.
• As a constitutional remedy with the remedy picture of haemorrhages,arnica (mountain ivy) has a wide range of uses in homeopathy. Arnica is used for bleeding and inflammation of the gums, among other things.
• Arum maculatum (spotted arum): Its medicinal picture includes inflammation of the upper respiratory tract and the mouth area. Belladonna (deadly nightshade) also shows inflammatory processes in the medicinal picture in addition to its influence on the respiratory tract. The mucous membranes in the mouth tend to be dry and the gums feel sandy and rough.
• Marum verum (cat's bugloss) is used for inflammation of the oral mucosa.
• Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni is used for inflammation of the mucous membranes of the entire body, including the oral mucosa. The gums are swollen and spongy, bleed easily and recede from the teeth.
• Sulphur (sulphur blossom) is a constitutional remedy that acts on the eyes, ears, mouth and upper respiratory tract. The remedy picture shows chronic inflammatory processes on the skin and mucous membranes. Sensitive lips, slightly bleeding gums and a white tongue in the morning are symptoms of the use of sulphur.

How to use

• Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults: At the onset of symptoms 21 drops every half hour to hour max. 8 times a day, up to 4 times a day if improvement begins.
• Children from 6 to 12 years: At the onset of symptoms 7 drops diluted in a little water half-hourly to hourly max. 6 times a day, at the onset of improvement up to 3 times a day.
• Children from 3 to 6 years: At the onset of symptoms, 7 drops diluted in a little water half-hourly to hourly max. 3 times a day, with the onset of improvement up to 2 times a day.
• Route of administration: Oral use, spread over the surrounding oral mucosa with the tongue.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.
  

Ingredients

• The active ingredients are: 100 g (corresponding to 107.5 ml) contain: Echinacea Dil. D4 2.0 g; Arnica montana Dil. D4 2.0 g; Apis mellifica Dil. D4 2.0 g; Arum maculatum Dil. D4 2.0 g; Atropa bella-donna Dil. D6 2.0 g; Teucrium marum (Marum verum) Dil. D4 2.0 g; Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni Dil. D9 2.0 g and Sulfur Dil. D6 2.0 g.
• The other ingredients are: ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water, traces of lactose monohydrate.
• Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1 g = approx. 49 drops.
