Tonsiotren® tablets, 60 ST

Tonsiotren® tablets are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for the treatment of sore throats, tonsillitis and pharyngitis, also after surgical removal of the tonsils.

Tonsiotren is a homeopathic combination medicine consisting of various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal pictures complement each other. The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures.

The following indications are authorised for this medicinal product:

• Tonsillitis and pharyngitis
• Chronic and chronically recurring tonsillitis,
• Enlargement of the pharyngeal tonsils (hyperplasia of the tonsils) in children
• To alleviate symptoms following surgical removal of the tonsils.

The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in the above-mentioned indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these diseases, clinically proven therapy is indicated. This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. If you do not feel better or even worse after 2 to 3 days (acute complaints) or 7 days (chronic complaints), consult your doctor.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: for acute symptoms, 1 to 2 tablets every hour for the first 1 to 2 days until improvement occurs (max. 8 tablets daily). For subsequent treatment 1 to 2 tablets 3 times a day.
• Children aged 6 years and over: For acute symptoms, 1 tablet every 2 hours for the first 1 to 2 days (max. 6 tablets daily). For subsequent treatment, 1 tablet 3 times a day.
• For enlargement of the tonsils in children, 1 tablet 3 times a day is recommended. The duration of treatment should be at least 6 to 8 weeks.
• In the case of chronically recurring tonsillitis, repeated treatment (e.g. several courses of treatment per year, each lasting 6 to 8 weeks) has also proved effective.
• If the symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced.
• Method of application: Oral use. Allow the tablet to dissolve in the mouth.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 2 to 3 days (acute symptoms), or 7 days (chronic symptoms), consult your doctor.
• Use in children: Use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data.
