anatis Grapefruit Seed Extract Capsules are a food supplement consisting of 100% pure grapefruit seed extract obtained through cold-water extraction, containing 45% bioflavonoids.

Grapefruit seed extract is best obtained through cold-water extraction, a gentle process that requires no additives whatsoever. Capsules (made from dried extract) are more pleasant to take than the bitter liquid extract. Perhaps the most important quality characteristic of a first-class grapefruit seed extract, alongside guaranteed purity and authenticity, is a high proportion of bioflavonoids – as the flavonoids found in citrus fruits are known. A content of 40–50% bioflavonoids is considered outstanding. If you need liquid grapefruit seed extract for a particular application, you can open the capsule and dissolve the dried grapefruit seed extract completely in water.

Take 1 capsule three times a day with a little liquid.
Adverse effects when taking medication: Grapefruit juice has fallen out of favour due to its interactions with numerous medicines. The furocoumarins, which are primarily responsible for this, are not present in grapefruit seed extract. However, as narginine – which is also present in the extract – may potentially interact with medicines, grapefruit seed extract should at least be taken at a different time from other medicines, or avoided altogether in the case of sustained-release medicines.
