Apozema® Migraine Gelsemium complex No. 22 drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for the treatment of headaches and migraines.

Homeopathy is a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic illnesses. Apozema Migraine Gelsemium complex No. 22 drops are a homeopathic combination medicine consisting of various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal pictures complement each other.

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indications are authorised for this medicinal product:

• Headache
• migraine

The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in these indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these disorders, clinically proven therapy is indicated. This medicinal product is used in adults and adolescents from 6 years of age. It should only be used in children from 6 to 11 years of age after consultation with a doctor.

Properties of the ingredients

• Gelsemium (false jasmine) is used to treat dull, severe headaches, especially in the back of the head and nervous disorders.
• Ammi visnaga (toothpick ammi or khella) acts, among other things, on the vascular walls. Ammi visnaga therefore also has an effect on circulation-related headaches and migraines.
• Apis mellifica (honey bee): Pressing, throbbing headache with dizziness are parts of the remedy picture towards the nervous system. Belladonna (deadly nightshade) is used in the area of headache as a supportive remedy.
• Calcium phosphoricum (calcium hydrogen phosphate) is a constitutional remedy that influences pain in the head and neck area via the spinal column.
• Coffea (coffee bean) is a remedy for stabbing, piercing headaches and neuralgia. Noise and odours aggravate the symptoms.
• Iris versicolor (coloured iris) shows in the remedy picture forehead headache with nausea, migraine-like headaches.
• Nux vomica (nux vomica) is a widely used homeopathic remedy. One of its effects is headache and dizziness.
• Secale cornutum (ergot) has a broad remedy picture, for example also circulatory disorders in the brain.
• Spigelia (wormwood) is used for periodically occurring migraine-like complaints. The medicinal picture shows nerve and headaches with half-sided localisation behind the frontal sinuses and temples.

• Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults: 21 drops up to 4 times a day throughout the day.
• Children from 6 to 12 years: 7 drops diluted in a little water up to 3 times a day throughout the day.
• Method of administration: Oral use. Spread the drops on the surrounding oral mucosa with the tongue or take diluted with water. If the symptoms improve, reduce the frequency of use.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 1-2 days in the case of acute symptoms or after 7 days in the case of chronic symptoms, consult your doctor.

D4 2.0 g and Spigelia anthelmia Dil. D4 2.0 g.
• The other ingredients are: Ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water.
• Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1 g = approx. 49 drops.
