Apozema® Antiperspirant Sambucus nigra complex No. 3 drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for the treatment of increased body perspiration without physical exertion, night sweats and hot flushes.

APOZEMA Antiperspirant Sambucus nigra complex No. 3 drops are a homeopathic combination remedy consisting of various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal pictures complement each other.

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indications are authorised for this medicine:

• Increased perspiration without physical exertion, night sweats and flushes.

Properties of the ingredients

• Sambucus nigra (black elderberry) is characterised by profuse sweating at night and after waking, non-inflamed swelling of the nasal and bronchial mucous membranes and hoarseness.
• Acidum sulfuricum (sulphuric acid) has a varied remedy picture. Its effect on the skin, veins and female reproductive organs is utilised.
• Agaricus muscarius (fly agaric) has a pronounced effect on the vegetative nervous system, among other things. The medicinal picture also includes the feeling of cold under the skin, cold sweat and sensitivity of the toes, fingers, nose and ears to cold. Associated with this are feelings of fear and anxiety as well as palpitations.
• Belladonna (deadly nightshade) is used for hot, steaming sweat without cooling, for febrile illnesses and for dysregulation originating from the sexual organs. The face is bright red, the feet are cold, there is often shivering although the inner heat accumulates.
• Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni (oyster shell lime) shows, among other things, hot sweating in places on the head, hands and feet as well as chills in places.
• Chamomilla (chamomile) is a women's remedy for inflammation and inner restlessness with flushes of blood. Hypersensitivity to pain, often associated with impatience or irritability, is also part of the remedy picture.
• Jaborandi (jaborandi shrub) acts on the nervous system and thus on the sweat glands. Accelerated cardiac activity during an outbreak of sweating, profuse sweating with reddening of the skin and subsequent dryness are part of the remedy picture.
• Salvia (sage) as a mother tincture primarily combats night sweats.

How to use

• Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults: At the onset of symptoms 21 drops every half hour to hour max. 8 times a day, up to 4 times a day at the onset of improvement.
• Children from 6 to 12 years: At the onset of symptoms, 7 drops diluted in a little water half-hourly to hourly max. 6 times daily, up to 3 times daily at the onset of improvement.
• Route of administration: Oral use. Apply the drops to the surrounding oral mucosa with the tongue and reduce the frequency of use as the symptoms improve.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

D4 2.0 g; Atropa bella-donna (Belladonna) Dil. D6 2.0 g; Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni Dil. D12 2.0 g; Matricaria recutita (Chamomilla) Dil. D4 2.0 g; Pilocarpus (Jaborandi) Dil. D4 2.0 g and Salvia officinalis (Salvia Dil.) D4 2.0 g.
• The other ingredients are: Ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water, traces of lactose monohydrate.
• Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1 g = approx. 49 drops.
