- For excessive gas formation and accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract (meteorism) with symptoms such as flatulence, a feeling of fullness and a sensation of tightness in the upper abdomen, which may be caused, for example, by swallowing air or by dietary errors .
- For increased gas formation following surgery and in cases of Roemheld’s syndrome.
- To prepare for diagnostic examinations of the abdominal region to reduce gas shadows (ultrasound scans, X-rays).
Dosage form
Directions for use
- Take 1 to 2 chewable tablets three times a day with or after meals. If necessary, a further 1 to 2 chewable tablets may also be taken before going to bed .
- To prepare for diagnostic imaging examinations of the abdominal region , adults should take 2 to 3 chewable tablets after each meal on the day before the examination and on the morning of the examination.
- For oral use. Ensure that you chew the tablets thoroughly before swallowing.
- The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the symptoms. Antiflat can be taken over a longer period if necessary. If symptoms persist or if the expected improvement does not occur, medical advice should be sought.
