- Allergyl Protective Spray is a nasal spray in powder form. In the nose, the powder turns into a gel that forms a protective layer against airborne allergens.
- Allergyl works exactly where the allergic reaction begins by protecting the nasal mucosa from airborne allergens. This prevents the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators from the mast cells (degranulation).

How to use
- To protect against hay fever and allergic rhinitis, Allergyl Protective Spray should be used 2 to 3 times a day to maintain the effective protective layer. Allergyl has been proven to be effective against the diffusion of pollen allergens for up to 6 hours per application (in-vitro study by Diethart et al.).
- The intensity of the pollen load, the proximity to a pollen source and the patient's allergy tendency determine how often Allergyl should be used.
- Please note: Allergyl should be used before you experience symptoms.
- Blow your nose before application.
- Remove the cap and shake the bottle.
- Check the pressure required to administer a suitable dose of the product. Test the application in the air beforehand. A 10-15 cm jet of powder is ideal. You can also squeeze the bottle with both hands if you find it difficult with one hand. As soon as you use Allergyl regularly, the test spray is no longer necessary.
- Insert the tip of the spray bottleinto your nose and spray 1-2 times into each nostril. Inhale gently through your nose. Do not inhale strongly.
- The protective spray must be reapplied after each time you blow your nose .
