Dosage form
How to use
- ActiMaris® Sensitive Wound Irrigation Solution can be used at room temperature (not above 30 °C). When rinsing wounds with an increased tendency to pain ,it is recommended to warm the required amount to room temperature in a separate container before use to increase the feeling of comfort (do not heat the rinsing solution above 30 °C).
- The duration and frequency of application should be adapted to the individual wound conditions and should be carried out until all plaque and necrosis can be easily removed and the wound is visually clean. Depending on the wound, dressings can be changed every 2 - 3 days for non-infected wounds according to the indication and phase; whether necrosis and coatings can be removed mechanically depends on the wound. In cases where dressings are difficult to remove, it is recommended that the wound dressings are wetted with the wound irrigation solution for at least 5 minutes until the dressings can be gently removed without traumatising the wound surface.
- In the case of thick, adherent fibrinous coatings or necrosis, surgical repair/debridement is primarily recommended.
- Inert dressings or wound dressings soaked with ActiMaris® Sensitive Wound Irrigation Solution can be used for wound cleansing.
- The application should preferably take place in the form of the classic moist/dry phase ("Moist Balance").
- The duration of the moist phase should be adjusted according to the thickness and firmness of the fibrin coating, microbial colonisation, wound edge maceration or irritation.
- Recommendation: 5 - 10 minutes exposure time
- Recommendation: 15 minutes application time
- Recommendation: 20 minutes contact time

Hervorragend
Sehr empfehlenswert zur sanften, aber effizienten Wundreinigung. Nimmt den Wundgeruch, wird weitestgehend als schmerzfrei von den Patienten empfunden. Ich arbeite sehr, sehr gerne damit!
