Faster wound healing with the power of nature. The most important ingredient in Abilar is purified, natural resin from Norwegian spruce. This is why Abilar has an unmistakable scent of forest and freshly felled wood, as well as a golden-brown colour.
Abilar supports the healing of cuts, wounds, tears, burns or ulcers. Abilar is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and has antimicrobial properties thanks to the resin. The ointment supports both the granulation of an open wound and its re-epithelialisation from the wound edges.
Ointments containing resin have been used for centuries in Finland and Sweden to treat various skin diseases and especially wounds.
Properties

How to use
The affected skin area should be clean. The ointment is applied once a day to the cleaned wound. Each pack of Abilar contains a detailed leaflet. Please read these carefully before using Abilar. If you are unsure, please consult your doctor or pharmacist. The ointment can be used under a conventional wound dressing. Abilar must be reapplied each time the dressing is changed.
Special information: Apart from allergic skin reactions in people who are hypersensitive to resin, there are no known contraindications. The ointment must not be applied to mucous membranes, eyes or mouth or swallowed. The instructions for use, doctor or pharmacist will provide information on the effects and undesirable effects of this medical product.
