How to use
Oral use.
Adults and adolescents (from the age of 12) ≥ 40 kg body weight
If required, take one tablet (equivalent to 400 mg ibuprofen) unchewed with plenty of liquid (e.g. a glass of water). If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take ADOLORIN Ibuforte during a meal. Do not take more than 3 coated tablets daily (corresponding to 1200 mg ibuprofen). The interval between taking 2 coated tablets depends on the maximum total daily dose and the symptoms, but wait at least 6 hours before takingthe next tablet.
Older persons ≥ 65 years of age
No special dose adjustment is required. Due to the possible side effect profile (see section 2 "Warnings and precautions"), older people should be monitored particularly carefully.
Children under 12 years of age
The use in children under 12 years of age (or persons under 40 kg) is not recommended as this dose strength is not suitable due to the higher active substance content.
