vitaldoc® nettle seeds, obtained from the flowers of the nettle plant (Urtica dioica), are a well-known local superfood with a slightly nutty flavour. Their high protein content makes them the perfect plant-based source of protein. Nettle seeds contain about as much iron (28 mg per 100 g) as spinach, but we can handle the mineral in nettle better thanks to its low oxalic acid content.

How to use

Take two teaspoons of the seeds daily as a natural food supplement. You can consume them directly or add them to smoothies, yoghurt or muesli. An infusion of the seeds can be enjoyed as a tea. Pour hot water over a teaspoon of seeds, steep and drink for a gentle, nutrient-rich support. Sprinkle the seeds over salads, soups or dishes to add a protein-rich and nutritious component.
