In terms of quantity, zinc is one of the most common trace elements in our organism. It is particularly important for the body's immune defence, but also for the acid-base balance as well as skin, hair and nails. Because it cannot be produced by the body itself, it is particularly important to consume sufficient amounts of zinc through our diet.

Anyone who smokes, follows a vegetarian or vegan diet or is exposed to increased environmental pollution should pay particular attention to their supply of the trace element, as factors such as these can reduce the absorption of zinc. If the intake through the diet is not sufficient, additional support through dietary supplements can be beneficial. Zinc 30 from Pure Encapsulations® provides well-tolerated zinc in capsule form. Bound to picolinic acid, it can be easily absorbed and processed by the body.
