The pure encapsulations® Zinc Complex capsules are a dietary supplement with the triple zinc complex of zinc gluconate, zinc picolinate and zinc citrate. The all-rounder zinc supports the immune system, skin and acid-base balance*.

Zinc for the body

Zinc is well known. The trace element plays a major role in the body and has positive effects on your immune system, supports your skin, hair and nails, helps to maintain your eyesight and even contributes to vitamin A metabolism. Zinc also plays an important role in maintaining the acid-base balance. The Zinc Complex from Pure Encapsulations® is also ideal for supporting your immune system. This builds on the supply of zinc, as it activates the T-cells and also helps to protect your body from oxidative stress. As important as the trace element is in your body, the body cannot produce it itself. This makes it all the more important to cover your zinc supply through your diet. However, there are also numerous factors that impair the absorption of zinc. These include a meatless diet, but also a high phytate content in the diet, which is mainly found in cereals and pulses, as phytate can reduce the bioavailability of zinc by up to 45%.

Zinc combinations in the Zinc Complex

The Zinc Complex was developed by the experts at Pure Encapsulations® and combines three valuable zinc compounds to provide optimum support for our immune system in particular. The three zinc compounds are organic compounds that all have very good bioavailability and tolerability. This is because your body already knows the binding partners picolinic acid, citrate and gluconate.

Directions
  • 1 capsule per day between meals.
  • Advice: Do not use for longer than a few weeks/months. Repeated use is recommended after 4 months at the earliest. Do not take any other dietary supplements containing zinc in addition. Only suitable for adults.
