Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel, 10 ML

Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel is a sterile, phosphate-free and highly viscous wetting agent in the innovative SafeDrop® system, a preservative-free multi-dose container co-developed by OmniVision. It can be optimally applied with the help of the practical wide finger rest.

Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel contains hyaluronic acid and is used for improved and long-lasting moisturisation of the ocular surface. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that also occurs in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, making it particularly well tolerated. It is characterised by a high water-binding capacity, adheres well to the surface of the eye (mucoadhesive properties) and is viscoelastic. Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel therefore moisturises, moistens and protects the surface of the eye and ensures an even, stable and particularly long-lasting film of moisture on the surface of the eye. Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel is very suitable for severe and chronic dryness or after diagnostic eye surgery. It provides lasting relief from symptoms such as dryness, irritation and mild irritation.

Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel is well suited for wetting contact lenses. This significantly improves the wearing comfort of contact lenses.

Hylo-Vision® SafeDrop® Gel can be used for the following indications:

• for dry eyes caused, for example, by Sjögren's syndrome or the use of medication
• environmental stress, e.g. from air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution, for example from cigarette smoke
• fatigue and visual stress caused by intensive viewing, e.g. at computer screens, microscopes or long car journeys
• mechanical strain, e.g. from wearing hard or soft contact lenses or diagnostic eye surgery.
