preval SAPO is a moisturising shower gel for nourishing cleansing of dry and sensitive skin. Valuable jojoba oil also ensures sufficient moisturising, so that the skin's natural barrier function is maintained.

Free from fragrances and colourants, preval SAPO is highly compatible and therefore also suitable for the care of sensitive baby and children's skin.

These contradictory requirements were taken into account in the design of preval SAPO. This preparation contains a small amount of solubilised jojoba oil in a surfactant mixture. This oil from the fruit (nut) of the shrub native to the south-west of the USA is actually a liquid wax ester (i.e. not a triglyceride) whose fatty acids and fatty alcohols contain more than 20 C atoms. For this reason, this lipid is more hydrophobic than the vegetable oils consisting of triglycerides that are usually used in caring detergents. It is remarkable that this natural lipid is not metabolised by the microbes that live on the skin, which explains its remarkable skin compatibility.

As the surface lipids of the skin are removed from the washing fluid together with dead corneocytes (horny cells) and dirt, jojoba oil, which is more difficult to solubilise, accumulates on the skin and exerts a clearly noticeable skin care effect without the skin feeling greasy.

• Due to its composition, preval SAPO is ideal as a shower gel, as a foaming bath additive and as a hand cleanser, especially for dry, sensitive skin (scaly, itchy).
• Special instructions: The additional use of soap or syndets is not recommended in order not to impair the skin care effect. The cleansing power of preval SAPO is sufficient.
