Nasovital for children - gentle help for blocked noses

The children's set consists of a blue 130 ml BPA-free rinsing bottle and includes 10 sachets of high-quality salt mixture with natural salt from the Salzkammergut region. Helps with colds, allergies and dry nasal mucous membranes. Gentle, effective and easy to use - with a child-friendly design for daily nasal hygiene. The salt mixture contained is suitable for all areas of application and can be adjusted to produce an isotonic (preventative) or hypertonic (for nasal congestion) rinsing solution.

Nasal rinsing with the Nasovital nasal rinsing system for children:

• As parents, we only want the best for our children. If they have a cold or suffer from allergies, we want to make it easier for them to breathe. Nasal irrigation can work wonders here - it gently but effectively clears the nose, especially before bedtime.

• Children learn by observing, show your child in advance on yourself how nasal rinsing works and arouse their interest! Children should do the nasal rinsing themselves. Therefore, give your child time to familiarise themselves with the Nasovital nasal rinsing system for children and to play with it. Praise your child for every step of their co-operation!

Dosage form

1 x Nasovital nasal rinsing system for children (colour: blue or pink) and 10 sachets of 3 g each of Nasovital nasal rinsing salt - with natural salt from the mountains of the Austrian Salzkammergut.

Application

Regular nasal rinsing with the Nasovital nasal rinsing system is a gentle, natural and effective method of preventing and alleviating symptoms. It improves nasal breathing, prevents infections and supports well-being - ideal for daily use!

How to rinse your nose with the Nasovital nasal rinsing system:

1. To make it easier for children to use, the smaller bottle (130 ml Nasovital nasal rinsing system for children) is recommended. Fill this with lukewarm water. To prepare an isotonic solution, use half a sachet of the nasal rinsing salt. For a hypertonic solution, use a whole sachet of Nasovital nasal rinsing salt.
2. Screw the closed cap onto the bottle, seal well and shake the contents well until the salt has completely dissolved.
3. The child should sit comfortably in front of the mirror. Allow him to squeeze a small amount of the solution into the sink and then help him to place the tip of the bottle into the nostril. It is important not to rush and to praise the child for their co-operation at every step. Wait a few minutes before cleaning the other nostril.
4. Then ask the child to blow its nose gently. If the child is still too small for this, clean the nostrils carefully with a baby nasal aspirator.
   

Cleaning and storage:

• Rinse the bottle and attachment with water and ensure that the bottle can dry thoroughly. The system is also suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.

Application tips:

• The salt should dissolve completely in lukewarm water. Only use the solution when no more residue is visible.
• Keep your mouth open when rinsing so that the solution flows easily through the nose and does not enter the throat.
• If any residue of the solution collects in the nasal passages, you can easily remove it by bending your head and gently turning it to the left and right.

Advice: For reasons of hygiene, each family member should use their own Nasovital nasal rinsing system, comparable to a toothbrush. The Nasovital nasal rinsing system is available in two different colours (blue & pink) as well as two different sizes, so you can find the right bottle for the whole family. If your child has chronic problems with the ears or sinuses, is physically impaired or has difficulty tolerating rinsing, consult your doctor before using the Nasovital nasal rinsing system.

Ingredients

Nasal rinsing salt - Contains 80% natural mineral salt from the Salzkammergut (sodium chloride, NaCl) and 20% sodium hydrogen carbonate (NaHCO₃). Sodium hydrogen carbonate helps to better dissolve stuck mucus and neutralise inflammatory metabolic products. Each 3 g portion consists of a defined mixture of 2.4 g sodium chloride [NaCl] and 0.6 g sodium hydrogen carbonate [NaHCO₃].
