The medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is registered exclusively for this area of application on the basis of many years of use. ilon Classic is used for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Reddened skin is the starting signal for the green ointment. However, ilon ointment classic is also effective when the inflammation has progressed and pus has formed:

The unique plant complex of ilon ointment classic specifically intervenes in the inflammatory process. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory, disinfectant and circulation-promoting properties, it powerfully supports the healing of all symptoms of inflamed skin. The pleasantly scented and protective ointment film, which smells of essential oils, provides noticeably soothing relief as soon as it is applied.

Larch turpentine: The yellowish-brown balsam, which is obtained by drilling into the trunks of larch trees, is collected by hand in the mountain forests of South Tyrol for ilon classic ointment. The positive medicinal properties of larch turpentine have been known there for centuries. The essential oils it contains promote blood circulation, have a disinfectant effect and support the maturation and reduction of the inflammatory boil.
Purified turpentine oil: Turpentine oil is obtained by scoring the trunks of pine trees. The purified turpentine oil, which can be used medicinally, is produced from the colourless balsam by steam distillation. Its essential oils have the same positive properties as larch turpentine, and purified turpentine oil also has an antibacterial effect.
Essential oils from eucalyptus, rosemary, thyme and thymol: Eucalyptus oil as the third active ingredient and the other essential oils rosemary and thyme oil as well as thymol as ingredients support the positive effects and also give the ointment its typical pleasant, fresh fragrance.
White Vaseline with beeswax, oleic and stearic acid: The combination of white Vaseline with beeswax, vegetable oil and stearic acid serves as a well-tolerated ointment base. The skin is covered with the balm and thus protected against the penetration of new pathogens. The proven ointment base with valuable oils cares for the skin and supports the healing process.

Directions for use

Adults, adolescents and children aged 6 years and over: Apply a 2-3 cm long strand of ilon Classic ointment to the inflamed skin area once a day.
Use in children: The use in children under 6 years of age has not been proven due to insufficient data. This medicine must not be used in children under 30 months of age or in children with a history of cramps (with or without fever).
Route of administration: For application to the skin. Before applying the ointment, clean the inflamed skin area carefully, preferably with alcohol or another disinfectant. Avoid applying any pressure to the inflamed area. Depending on the extent of the inflamed tissue area, apply a 2-3 cm long strand of ointment to the affected area and cover it with a bandage. The dressing should be changed daily.
Duration of application: For a successful treatment result, it may be necessary to apply ilon Classic for at least 3 days. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredients are: 1 g ointment contains: 12 mg Eucalyptus sp., aetheroleum (eucalyptus oil), 54 mg Larix decidua Mill., balsamum (larch turpentine), 72 mg Pinus pinaster Aiton and/or Pinus massoniana D. Don., aetheroleum (turpentine oil).
The other ingredients are: white vaseline, yellow wax, stearic acid 50, oleic acid, polysorbate 20, rosemary oil, thyme oil of the thymol type, thymol, chlorophyll-copper complex (E 141), butylhydroxytoluene (E 321, contained in turpentine oil).
