The unique combination in flexiLoges® Knorpel aktiv consists of the body's own joint building blocks and important micronutrients of a special quality:
- Vitamin C and manganese: vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for healthy bone and cartilage function. Manganese also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal connective tissue formation.
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) and molybdenum: MSM is a naturally occurring organic sulfur compound that is found both in the environment and in the human organism. It is absorbed from the soil in plants and thus supplied through food (contained in various fruits, vegetables and grains). In the human body, MSM is a physiological intermediate product of cell metabolism that can be detected in the blood. Molybdenum is important for the metabolism of sulphur-containing amino acids.
- N-acetyl-glucosamine (NAG) and chondroitin: N-acetyl-glucosamine is a special amino sugar that is a basic building block of hyaluronic acid in the body. Chondroitin, as a naturally occurring chondroitin sulphate in cartilage, is an important component of articular cartilage.
- UC-11"' (collagen type II: There are many different types of collagen in mammals. If you count up all the collagens discovered by science, there are actually 19 different types of collagen. Type II collagen is contained in joint cartilage as a natural scaffold substance. UC-11"' contains a high proportion of native (non-denatured) type II collagen. Due to the special formulation, the necessary daily intake quantities are significantly reduced.
- Bamboo extract: Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world and is known for its toughness combined with lightness and elasticity. The plant is versatile and is used in many cultures as a source of food, among other things. Bamboo is rich in silicon. The trace element is found in the human body primarily in connective tissue structures (e.g. skin, bones, cartilage)
