Directions for use
- Always take the coated tablet at the same time of day (morning or evening) if possible. Swallow the coated tablet whole with sufficient liquid, e.g. a glass of water.
- The effect of femidoc® Menopause Duo Coated Tablets is not immediate. Therapeutic effects can be seen after 2 weeks of treatment. If you do not feelbetter or even worse after 6 weeks , consult your doctor.
- This medicine should not be taken for longer than 6 months without medical advice.
- There is no indication for the use of femidoc® Menopause Duo Coated Tablets in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Ingredients
- 1 coated tablet contains the following active ingredients: 300 mg quantified dry extract of St. John's wort (Hyperici herba), drug-extract ratio 3.5-6:1 corresponding to: 0.10-0.30% hypericin, calculated as hypericin; at least 6% flavonoids, calculated as rutoside; maximum 6% hyperforin;
- Extractant: ethanol 60% (m/m). 6.4 mg dry extract of black cohosh rhizome (Cimicifugae rhizoma), drug-extract ratio 4.5-8.5:1. Extractant: ethanol 60% (v/v).
- The other ingredients are: Maltodextrin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, cellulose powder, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), magnesium stearate, hypromellose, sucrose, talc, calcium carbonate E 170, tragacanth , gum arabic, glucose syrup (dry substance), titanium dioxide E 171, iron oxide (yellow) E 172, vanillin, beeswax white, carnauba wax, shellac
