When the gums recede, the sensitive tooth necks are exposed together with the soft dentine. External stimuli such as hot/cold or sweet/sour can then trigger painful sensations. elmex® SENSITIVE toothpaste cleans sensitive tooth necks gently and carefully. Sensitivity to pain is reduced and protection against tooth decay is provided thanks to highly effective amine fluoride (1400ppm fluoride). Special cleaning agents ensure thorough and gentle cleaning of the tooth surfaces.
