Dosage form
How to use
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: One spray into each nostril once a day. If necessary, the medicine can be used every 8 hours up to a maximum of 3 times a day. The recommended dosage must not be exceeded. The effect of xylometazoline begins 5 - 10 minutes after application and lasts for up to 10 hours.
- Duration of use: If you do not feel better after 3 days, or if the condition worsens, you should consult a doctor. This medicine should be used for as short a time as possible and should not be used for longer than 7 days.
- Use easynasan nasal spray after blowing your nose and while sitting down. Remove the cap.
- Hold the bottle upright between your thumb (at the bottom of the bottle) and middle finger. Press the pump down to spray.
- Before the first application, it is necessary to spray the spray 5 times into the air to achieve an even dose. If the medicine is not used for a few days, it must be sprayed into the air at least once to achieve an even dose.
- Insert the spray opening into the nostril. Press the pump down and inhale through the nose at the same time while gently pressing the other nostril closed with a finger. Release the pump and remove it from the nostril. Repeat the process for the other nostril.
- After use, clean the spray opening with water and replace the cap. To prevent the spread of infection, easynasan nasal spray should only be used by one person.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: xylometazoline hydrochloride. 1 ml solution contains 1 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride. 1 spray (= 140 microlitres) contains 140 micrograms of xylometazoline hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are Sodium hyaluronate, purified seawater, potassium dihydrogen phosphate (E 340), purified water.
- Note: easynasan 1 mg/ml nasal spray does not contain any preservatives.
