- D-mannose is a simple sugar that has little effect on blood sugar and is excreted in the urine.
- Glucosamine is a component of the bladder's protective mucous membrane.
- Vitamin A is required for the integrity of the mucosal epithelial cells.
- Nettle, goldenrod, field horsetail and blackcurrant contain valuable secondary plant substances.
- Cranberries are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.
