- A high content of crude fibres from alpine grass meal, soya bean hulls and oat bran is the basis for maintaining the intestinal flora and promotes intestinal peristalsis.
- Pectins and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) selectively promote the desired intestinal flora in the cecum and colon (prebiotics).
- Vitamins and minerals prevent nutritional and disease-related deficiencies.
- Fenugreek seeds, calamus root and curcuma stimulate appetite and digestive activity.
- Camomile flowers, peppermint, fennel, caraway and liquorice supplement the food with valuable secondary plant substances.
Composition
Directions for use
- Mix the powder with warm water in a ratio of approx. 1:2 (1 part powder to 2 parts water) until a creamy paste is formed. Depending on requirements, a slightly more liquid or firmer mash can also be mixed.
- Unless otherwise agreed with your vet, the animals should be given at least 60-80 ml of mixed mash per kg body weight spread over 5 to 6 meals a day, depending on their body weight.
- Very weak animals should be fed small portions as often as possible (every 2-3 hours).
- Depending on the species, weight, age and condition of the animal, the required feeding quantity and frequency may vary and should therefore be agreed with the vet.
- Offer the mash in a bowl or on a small spoon. If no voluntary food intake occurs, RodiCare® instant is carefully administered in small amounts into the side of the mouth using a syringe.
- During the transition period from liquid to solid food, RodiCare® instant can be fed with a little water to form small lumps of dough. As soon as the animal starts eating solid food again, the RodiCare® instant ration is reduced accordingly.
- Store mash in a cool place and consume within 12 hours. Do not feed the mash chilled.
- Advice: In addition, good quality hay and fresh water should always be offered freely. As complete regeneration of the digestive tract can take several weeks, it is recommended that RodiCare® basic pellets be fed first during and after the transition period to solid food.
