PansenReaktiv® powder from alfavet is a dietary supplement for ruminants – dairy cattle, beef cattle and lambs – designed to reduce the risk of acidosis.

Properties

Levucell® consists of live yeasts that stimulate the growth of fibre-utilising and lactate-degrading microorganisms in the rumen, whilst inhibiting lactate-producing bacteria. This improves fibre utilisation and stabilises the pH value.
Calcium propionate and sodium propionate are rapidly available energy sources suitable for ruminants. Calcium helps to meet the increased calcium requirements during lactation.
B-complex vitamins are important regulators of metabolism during thedigestion of carbohydrates andproteins.

PansenReaktiv® is a rumen stimulant designed to provide rapid buffering in cases of rumen acidosis and nutritional imbalances in the feed. Highly effective, rapidly bioavailable substances ensure that the rumen flora stabilises and is additionally supplied with sufficient energy. Calcium and magnesium also ensure an optimal supply of essential minerals. PansenReaktiv® is an ideal feed supplement for the rapid activation of the rumen.

Directions for use

Feeding recommendation: For administration into the mouth or as a drenching. Mix PansenReaktiv® with plenty of warm water in a suitable container or in the original red PansenReaktiv® bottle and administer promptly.

Dairy cows: 300 g per animal per day.
Fattening cattle: 150–300 g per animal per day.
Sheep and goats: 100 g per animal per day.
Lambs: 75–100 g per animal per day.

Recommended feeding period: No more than 2 months; for dairy cows, no more than 2 months from the start of lactation. Particularly suitable for high-yielding cows and intensively fed beef cattle and lambs. It is recommended to seek the advice of a vet before feeding.

Notes: Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C! Use immediately after mixing.
