- Apple, citrus and carrot pomace are rich in protopectins and pectins. They have a high swelling capacity and a very high water-binding capacity. In this way, they protect and soothe the intestinal mucosa by forming a gel, improve stool consistency and prevent severe fluid loss. Furthermore, they promote the growth of beneficial bacteria (prebiotic effect) and support intestinal motility.
- Liquorice, blueberries, blackberry leaves and fennel seeds supplement the diet with valuable phytochemicals.
- Fenugreek seeds stimulate the appetite and aid digestion.
- Dia Tab® also contains bentonite, diatomaceous earth and silicic acid as binding agents with a high water-binding capacity.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- Up to 10 kg: 1/2 chewable tablet twice daily
- From > 10 – 20 kg: 1 chewable tablet twice daily
- Over 20 kg: 1 chewable tablet three times a day
- Whilst administering Dia Tab®, plenty of water should be made available for the animal to drink at will.
- Recommended treatment duration: 1–7 days. It is recommended that you seek advice from a vet before use.
- Notes: Avoid the simultaneous oral administration of macrolides.
Ingredients
- Composition: Poultry liver, sugar, potato starch, dried apple pomace 8.8%, rice flour, dried egg products, sodium chloride, dried citrus pomace 3 per cent, dried carrot pomace 3 per cent, processed animal protein (poultry), rice, linseed cake, brewers’ grains, yeast, liquorice 0.3 per cent, fennel seeds 0.3 per cent, blackberry leaves, dried 0.3%, fenugreek seeds 0.3%, blueberries 0.3%, potassium chloride.
- Analytical constituents: Crude protein 19%, crude fibre 8.3%, crude fat 4.8%, crude ash 10.9%, easily digestible carbohydrates 35.2%, sodium 1.8%, potassium 0.6%.
- Additives per kg: Nutritional additives: iron as iron(II) sulphate, monohydrate 491 mg, betaine as betaine hydrochloride 5,546 mg. Technological additives: bentonite 5,900 mg, diatomaceous earth (purified) 25,000 mg, silicic acid, precipitated and dried 15,000 mg.
- Key nutritional characteristics: Increased electrolyte content: sodium ≥ 1.8%, potassium ≥ 0.6%, easily digestible carbohydrates ≥ 32%.
