alfavet Dia Tab chewable tablets are a dietary supplement for dogs and cats to alleviate acute intestinal absorption disorders.

Dia Tab® contains a balanced composition of natural ingredients to regulate disturbed digestive processes.
- Fruit and carrot pomace are rich in protopectins and pectins. They have a strong swelling capacity and a very high water-binding capacity. They protect and soothe the intestinal mucosa through gel formation, improve the consistency of faeces and prevent heavy fluid loss. They also promote the growth of desirable bacteria (prebiotic effect) and intestinal motility.
- Liquorice, blueberries, blackberry leaves and fennel seeds supplement the diet with valuable secondary plant substances. Fenugreek seeds stimulate appetite and digestive activity.
- Dia Tab® also contains bentonite, diatomaceous earth and silicic acid as binding agents with a high water-binding capacity.

Directions for use
Feeding recommendation: Chewable tablet for single administration or for feeding with meals. During and after acute diarrhoea.
For one weight:
- Up to 10 kg 2 x daily 1/2 chewable tablet
- From > 10 - 20 kg 2 x daily 1 chewable tablet
- Over 20 kg 3 x 1 chewable tablet daily
If necessary, the dose can be doubled.
While Dia Tab® is being administered, plenty of water should be made available for consumption as required.
Notes: Recommended feeding duration according to veterinary advice. It is recommended that veterinary advice is sought before feeding. Simultaneous oral administration of macrolides should be avoided.
Ingredients
- Composition: Poultry liver, fruit pomace (apple, lemon), dried 11.3 %, dextrose, potato starch, rice flour, egg products, dried, sodium chloride, carrot pomace 3 %, processed animal protein (poultry), broken rice, linseed meal, yeast, liquorice 0.3 %, blueberries 0.3 %, fennel seeds 0.3 %, blackberry leaves, dried 0.3 %, fenugreek seeds 0.3 %, fructo-oligosaccharides, potassium chloride.
- Analytical constituents: Crude protein 21.7 %, crude fibre 6.2 %, crude fat 5.9 %, crude ash 8.3 %, sodium 1.3 %, potassium 0.5 %.
- Additives per kg: Nutritional additives: Iron as iron(II) sulphate, monohydrate 491 mg, betaine as betaine anhydrate 4,236 mg.
- Technological additives: Bentonite 5,900 mg, diatomaceous earth (diatomaceous earth, purified) 25,000 mg, silicic acid, precipitated and dried 15,000 mg.
- Essential nutritional-physiological characteristics: High electrolyte content, easily digestible feed materials (rice, potato starch, dextrose).
