Sucralan® 1 g/5 ml oral suspension sachets are an over-the-counter medicine containing the active ingredient sucralfate. Sucralan® acts locally, directly on the mucous membranes of the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum.
It forms a film on the surface which protects the damaged area from the corrosive effects of gastric juice. It accelerates healing and leads to an improvement in symptoms.

Sucralan® is used:
- to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers, relieve symptoms and accelerate ulcer healing.
- to prevent the recurrence of gastric and duodenal ulcers once they have healed.
- for oesophagitis resulting from the backflow of stomach contents (reflux oesophagitis).
- to prevent stress-related bleeding in intensive care settings.

Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 5 ml corresponds to 1 sachet, or, when dispensed from a bottle, to the 5 ml mark on the measuring cup provided. Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the recommended dose is: 5 ml four times daily, after each meal and in the evening before going to bed.
- Method of administration: For oral use. Before taking the suspension, knead the sachet or shake the bottle. Pour the contents of one sachet directly into the mouth or onto a tablespoon and swallow. The suspension should be taken after meals. It is also recommended to take a further dose shortly before going to bed. Water may be drunk afterwards.
- Duration of use: Sucralan should not be taken for longer than 2 weeks without consulting a doctor. If symptoms persist or have worsened after 2 weeks, or if symptoms return quickly, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Ingredients
- What Sucralan contains – The active ingredient is sucralfate. 5 ml of suspension contains 1 g of sucralfate (basic aluminium sucrose sulphate equivalent to 175 mg of aluminium).
- The other ingredients are methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 216), sorbitol solution (E 420), sodium citrate (E 331), anhydrous citric acid (E 330), hydroxyethylcellulose, caramel flavouring, purified water.

Schnelle Hilfe, echter Magenschutz
Lindert sofort Beschwerden und die dazugehörigen Schmerzen. Bin sehr froh, dass es diesen Magenschutz gibt und ich nicht auf Säureblocker zurück greifen muss.
